1024x600 isn't what I'd call lousy for a 10.1 display :p And you can't swap out the audio chip. It's what the onboard is called, you have HD audio, I have HD audio, everyone on this site has HD audio...

HD audio isn't an option, it's what Realtek calls their onboard audio chips nowadays. The audio quality also has nothing to do with the screen resolution :p

Had this stick in my old Mini 9 before I swapped it out for a HyperX stick, didn't get warm at all. Now it lives in a 10v, where it is still yet to get very warm.
