My Dell Mini Forum

kumatae · **Dell Mini 10 XP Recovery CD ASAP!!! -** 02-28-2011, 06:55 PM

My Mini is out of warranty and my hard drive is dead. Just got off the phone with Dell after 30 minutes of bouncing back and forth and got told that they can't send me a copy even though my mini never came with a CD. Yes I've tried the ctrl F10 trick with no luck. I got the hard drive and now just need the recovery CD/DVD. Will take copies (don't think its illegal since I have my own serial number). Please let me know and I'll paypal it ASAP.

Buying or Selling of Dell software is against forum rules/and illegal..and PMing counts too

Wasn't selling it, he was only paying postage. Just trying to help the guy out. Doesn't matter, can't find the XP disc from my friends mini anyway. I was aware of the rule, but Thanks for the headsup rrfranzak3

the proper procedure for obtaining a new recovery disk is to purchase it from Dell...ANYTHING else is considered piracy software and against forum guidelines
