eeek. Add me to those confused by the move.

Also confuses my that the 16G ssd is $30 more than the 120G hard drive.

And BTW the 9s are currently in the outlet (about 79 right now)

No telling whether Dell will fulfill any such orders, but anyone who wants a last chance at a new Mini 9 should give it a shot.

I ordered one using this link over a day ago. Got an email right away with an purchase id number but when I log into my dell account, it states I have no orders pending. I also note that in the invoice it shows $0 shipping.

microshaft = control over ram
stec ssd = crap
low price and modability = buy better parts not from dell, low profit

You have supply issues, just cancel production of a successful product! Way to go Dell!

Default Mini 9 direct-link fail - 06-09-2009, 08:54 PM

Unfortunately, Dell canceled the order that I placed using this link. I ordered another from the Outlet. Yesterday there were only a few units available and they were all pink, but today there are more than 30 in a variety of colors and configurations. I ordered a white one with a 32GB SSD, 1.3MP webcam, and Bluetooth for $369+tax with free shipping.

Default Ouch! - 06-10-2009, 08:17 PM

Is it just me or has Dell actually INCREASED the price of the refurbs due to demand?

Out of about 80 available they had ONE with a 32GB SSD. And they wanted $509 (!!!) for it.

BRUTAL PRICE. It did have XP-but I wouldn't want that anyway.

Man am I glad I got my 32 GB for $305 when I did. These prices are nuts!

I think the Outlet prices have been creeping up for some time now. Earlier this year I picked up an Alpine White, 8GB/512MB Ubuntu model for $209 before coupon and tax. Over the past month or so, I've seen similar Ubuntu models advertised for $249/$259 - and they didn't even have a webcam or Bluetooth! At first I chalked it up to the abundance of coupons that have been available recently, but then when the end of the Mini 9 was officially announced I realized it probably was related to that. It's pretty much impossible to find bargains now. I'm glad I got mine when I did!
