Just ordered the basic Ubuntu model (with 2GB RAM) from the Canadian Dell website and will order the Runcore 32GB SSD once the Mini has been shipped. Here's hoping they don't cancel the order. |

This sucks.... I was hoping the little usb tv tuner would be rearing it's little head soon, but I think thats a pipe dream now- unless I go with the 10 or buy a 3rd party tuner. On a different note- back in March while at the Mall in Modesto, California, I participated in a survey where different specs of "generic no name netbooks" were presented to me. one of the questions was whether I would be more inclined to purchase a 9", 10" or 12" netbook over the next 12 months - the lady collecting the surveys was wearing a DELL shirt- market research?????? I imagine I shot myself in the foot as I chose the 10" version. |
