Only one configuration is available, this one comes with an 80GB Hard drive, Windows Vista and as with the Dell Mini 9 European options, only in black. There are lots of options that look like they may be configurable in the future, notably a picture with a whole rainbow of colours! But for now the only thing you can change is the Warranty.

Priced at £429 / €559.

Dell US have updated their site to show the Inspiron 12 for sale, in three options. with various components upgradable; including processor, a white colour option and hard drives ranging from 40gb - 80gb.

Prices start at $549.

So... looks like they are only offering it with Vista?

Not that I was planning on buying one of these or anything but I have really been digging Ubuntu on my Dell Mini 9, I figured they would offer it hear as well.

$549.. About two weeks before my Mini9 arrived, Dell had a real laptop on sale at $450.. $549.. Fail.. Not to mention the Mini9 has far better hardware.. Whatever.. Good luck Dell..

Also for sale in Australia - once again with a lack of choices, and this time we don't even get the top of the range model like we did with the mini 9 :x

EDIT - well after a short while we have a $250 reduction, and we do get the top of the range model now - go figure :shock:

(We even had the option of a 3G module for two different carriers albeit briefly)
