Meanwhile the Mini 9 seems to be going away not too long after this. Maybe Dell will keep it around for the Linux buyers. I, for one, see no reason to go to a Mini 10. The 9 runs just great and can do everything I want it to. Since I already have a full size laptop (e1705) I don't need another one. I really think that Dell is missing a great opportunity by killing off the 9. I am holding hope that they will see the light and update the 9 and release it again. Especially with the success many users are having with Windows 7. I won't run it but if that's what it takes to keep the 9 alive, I'll just reload with my choice of Linux. Or better yet maybe they'll update their load of Dellbuntu. Mine:Black Mini 9|2GB|32GB Runcore|32GB SD|1.3 Cam|v470 BT Mouse|Kubuntu 10.10 Future Mods 64GB Runcore - BT Headphones |
