Default Dell Mini re-branded as Vostro A90 - 10-24-2008, 01:07 PM

[news-img:1o2pyu9n]/images/news/dell_a90_2.jpg[/news-img:1o2pyu9n]Dell is preparing for the release of a business-netbook in Japan. The netbook, branded the 'Vostro A90' is essentially an all-black version of our familiar Dell Mini 9, with exactly the same specs, in an 8GB SSD flavour.

When we will see this netbook in the business line of Dell elsewhere is unknown.

I think the bigger news is Dell trying to sell this at ~$900US.

That really looks sharp in all black. Wish I could order that for USA delivery.

Was that suppose to be some clever response?

I do admit though the all black color scheme looks better than the two-tone.

I'm liking the all black look too.

Can a Vostro case mod be far behind?

Think I'll just pick up the Mini from Dell outlet for cheap...flash the Vostro A90 BIOS onto it: http://ftp.us.dell.com/bios/A90_A00.exe and then sell it on Ebay for twice what I paid...j/k

P.S. Really wouldn't recommend trying to flash Mini w/Vostro BIOS...would be cool to find out what it does though...

What do you think would be different about the BIOS on that thing vs ours?
