Additionally, they reveal that they will also be sporting XP as an operating system (with Ubuntu on the way) and an optional 720p display and TV tuner. [via Engadget] |

| Junior Member Posts: 1 Join Date: Dec 2008 | When is Dell going to remove it's head from it's posterior and stop with this crap, which follows the lines of: - spend months over-hyping all the new features a model will have - finally release the new model in a crippled state with only some features available - eventually at some point offer "new" features which were originally promised, but by that time other manufacturers will have caught up and offer similar if not better alternatives seriously, i do like the mini 9 but it does have major issues like the keyboard which have kept it's adoption rather low... however it was more feature rich than the mini12 which we have told everyone to completely stay away from. The mini10 was supposed to be the great unifier, fixing the issues with the mini9 while keeping it's best traits... I guess we were sorely mistaken, yet once again |

| Junior Member Posts: 8 Join Date: Feb 2009 | I am disappointed on the first batch but I'd never pay the premium for the first batch either. Dell is good at changing their specs based on customer's complaints so there are already words saying it will be upgradeable to 2GB. I bought my mini 9 at the Outlet and will do the same for mini 10 if I cannot resist on the "improved" spec. I saw a barebone mini 9 for $189 in the outlet last night. With a 20% off coupon, it will be $150. After a refresh, it's gone. I hope mini 10 will be at that level (<$250) later this year (Outlet of course with coupon). |
