Its only now though we have started to see hints at the Inspiron Mini 12 actually appearing on the official Dell website, in the form of entries in the Drivers and Manual contents. The most obvious difference between our currently beloved Mini 9 and the Mini 12 is the size, some will inevitably argue that the netbook/notebook line has been crossed, and that the Mini 12 is nothing other than a small notebook. Only time (and price, specs etc) will tell. Hit the via link for the snippets found at Dell.com. Of course, expect full coverage here at MyDellMini.com, and new devoted forum sections. ![]() but I think they're quite different. If the specs on engadget/gizmodo are to be believed, the Mini 12 won't have a CD slot and will weight about 1.2KG, versus 2KG for the 700m which has a CD drive. And I wouldn't mind betting the Pentium M in the (4 year old) 700m is faster than the Atom in the Mini 12. | |
