If you're in the US, the Dell Streak is now available to purchase from Best Buy. You can either look around your local Best Buy Mobile speciality or you can order from the Best Buy website.

The Streak on offer is on AT&T for $299.99 and seems to be the exact configuration that's available on the Dell US website, the only advantage being that you can go in to store and have a fiddle with a demo unit first.

so i saw the commercial of this dell streak. this is more of a phone right? or some thing i can use like the apple ipod touch? phone is what i am guessing...

It is a bit of both - you can think of it more like an iPhone with a larger screen, but without Apple's restrictions on what software you can run. It is a phone and it has WiFi and cellular data.
