Default Fingers on with the Dell Inspiron Duo - 09-17-2010, 11:24 AM

jkkmobile was actually able to get his fingers on the Dell Inspiron Duo! Lucky guy indeed.

Dell are being very quiet on the details of this upcoming product. The only things we really found out from this little play is that it's a capacitive touchscreen and that the webcam is located in the bezel, meaning it won't follow you around when you switch to tablet mode.

now that might be worth investing in depending on the rest of the specs such as RAM upgradeability and HD or SSD?

Neat the way the LCD flips, but gay on the cam. They should have just made the lid swivel typical tablet style.

I can't wait to see more specs on this thing.. It seriously might get me to ditch my 10v.

If they manage to release it (in the UK) in the next month or two I might just get one, I'm in the market for a new portable w/DX11 hardware driver support on the cheap.

If they wimp out like usual and only offer black at launch time though, I probably won't bother. Getting a bit tired of that game

Don't think it'll provide what I need anyway, I could compromise on DX10 but looks certainly DX9 still. Not much of a surprise, it's still set to be at the upper-end of netbooks hosting this processor, etc., and my needs were quirky
