well.. my update went smoothly as far as install and download

but now i can't connect to market, keeps saying my wifi is disconected (when it's not!)

I can't get facebook to sync (cant add the account to the sync section)

can't connect to dell pc suite either

so i'm a bit stuck

this totally sucks, if its not sorted I'm taking my phone back to O2 and tell them that its dysfunctional and I want my money back....!!!

Well I tried to install the leaked 2.1 last week and it went horribly wrong!
I went back to the 1.6 and decided to wait until the o2/Dell release.
I got home last night and saw the triangle with exclamation mark saying there was an update for the phone.
So I backed up again using Mobile Backup II and ran the update.
Left it for about 30 minutes to download and run the update - gave me a satisfying notification sound.

It's been a dream to use since!
Spent this morning installing all my apps via AppBrain - deleting some from the list that I never used.

Loving the live wallpapers ;-)

I know some of you are having problems and I really do feel for you, hated it when my leaked 2.1 wouldn't boot - just sat on the Dell logo screen.
I'm sure if you use the link to go back to the official 1.6 package and try again, it will work at some point.

Superficially this is a big step forward from 1.6, but just below the surface there are several significant problems which must be solved soon or my early adopter enthusiasm will switch to another android phone. Worst is the bug in Google log in which prevents connection to wifo for syncing and access to Market. When can we expect a solution???

I've managed to work around the Google log in issue by disabling the WiFi connection and logging in via the 3G connection (this went through without a hitch) then once logged in re-enabling the WiFi connection.
All working fine no problems except the Dell PC Suite doesn't see the device when connected.
