For those of you who don't know, the Dell Adamo XPS has silently disappeared from the Dell site, and possibly, the world.
Well, not exactly. All of them apart from a remaining 6 in stock at the John Lewis UK store.
Although the Adamo XPS wasn't one of the
the best Dell notebooks out there, it certainly one of the few tilted heavily towards design. The Dell Adamo XPS was truly unique in many aspects, no where before have we seen the unique hinge design, where the keyboard seemingly folds into the screen, making the product uber-flat when folded together. However, because of it's unique design and urge to be the thinnest notebook out there, the innards of the Adamo XPS were nothing too powerful, and it's hefty price tag which was compared to some of Dells beefiest computers, did not help to drive it's popularity.
If anyone from the UK is interested, this elaborate piece of history will cost you
£1750 from the John Lewis store, and do it now because as of writing there were only 6 left in stock!
The other (more conventional) Dell Adamo we've seen came in 2 flavours (Onyx and Pearl) and has outlived its younger brother, this cutesy is still available on the Dell site,
UK,
US.
