 Our Mac OS X forum is buzzing with activity since the release of the update, and as per usual with hackintosh'n methods, there are many ways to get the job done. Check out Meklorts kernel roll back instructions here, if you take even the slightest interest in hackintoshing you certainly might want to give the whole thread a read. |

Well, that's a shame. I'm not an OS X user myself, but I was glad that it was an option for those who wanted it. I do think that Apple is shooting itself in the foot a bit by undercutting 3rd party products that do not compete with anything that Apple itself currently produces. |

It like they are now missing out on advertising they aren't really paying for. A hackintosh might lead people to go buy a real Apple laptop. |

Finally gave up on my hackintosh mini9. Apple has every right to keep to this practice, but I hoped they wouldn't. Installed Windows 7 yesterday and it is very good. Battery life is better than SL. Bootup time is a few seconds slower, but shutdown is almost instantaneous. All hardware was recognized, expect for the trackpad, but thanks to the help of this forum, all is well. |
