Default [FALSE Rumor] Apple Dropping Support for Intel Atom CPU in OSX 10.6.2 - 11-02-2009, 02:42 PM

**UPDATE**

Apple has released a new build of 10.6.2 with a different kernel. There are no problems with Atom CPUs in this seed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since this news is now "wide-spread" on the internet rumor-mill, I thought it would be appropriate to make a news announcement for clarification purposes.

The Atom CPU (which is what our Minis use) is not functioning properly with the OSX 10.6.2 kernel. Meklort has a developer seed of 10.6.2 and it working hard to figure this out... (thankfully we got ADC membership this past week).

Please direct all discussions about this to this thread

All of the new threads about the same topic is starting to get old
