What's the exact reason why customers need to be aware of what BIOS version they're running to use this extended life battery?

I mean if customers end up having to do additional work to change the BIOS version of their computer, possibly even having to downgrade it as well as pay money, they should at least know why.

The main issue is the A05 BIOS as we've found that there are recognition and charging errors when used with that particular revision. All previous BIOS revisions that we have tested prior to that have worked without a problem.

I received my battery today and after fully charging it, OSX is showing 10 hours of time remaining. In the other thread re the battery, someone asked if the battery prevented the screen from opening up fully- it does, but I didn't measure the degree to which the battery blocks the screen. My Mini 9 is running OSX (10.5.8) and the A04 BIOS.
