Great price: mine cost $99 + $25 International Fed-X directly from Hoda. Works great, BUT requires total take-down to motherboard. Not easy task for non-technicals.

Battery life is barely affected, the controller board pulls only 50mah running.

Highly recommend reading entire long thread on touchscreen topic first.

They have been a pretty solid seller so far with no reported problems.

I just updated the original post with our new eBay auction link and if anyone uses Microsoft/Bing Cashback they can save an addition 15% as of right this minute. Cashback doesn't tend to stay that high very long though so if you're looking for a good deal I would suggest acting quickly.

On OS X I'm a bit disappointed: often unresponsive after sleep, sometimes coming reactive after a minute or two, and slow reaction (drawing a smooth curve in the draw test of the TouchKit utility makes a rather angular line). Still helpful for organizing files or reordering text blocks, or doing mind maps.
Latest OS X drivers are from 2007... I hope for a Snow Leo update.

Good feedback... now I am wondering if there ever will be updated drivers and support for Mac OSX ??

I dont like how the screen dosent shut all the way

the kit needs to include some spacers that go underneath the hinge to raise it up,which should fix the problem
