I am currently limboing between this model and the Hp mini 311. Those two are the only Ion netbooks I could find available at the moment. I noticed for the same price I could get the HP mini 311 which includes the os(which isn't much of a sell point for me) and 1 gig ram. the hp mini comes with the 1gig ram(DDR3) soldered on to the mobo however heard that it has a terrible CL11 or something, with the possibility of adding another 2gig ddr3 stick to make the total ram 3gig. Is the POV ion netbook also DDR3? I noticed that the barebone model had no ram in it as well. Also is the ion chip inside the ION LE or full fledged ION? |
