Sorry for the delay kevon, i didn't see i had a message.
As far as the sound is concerned it seems to be a mixed bag as far as people getting it to work. The way i was able to get it to work was to get the 5 necessary kexts from the initial post. AppleHDA.kext (vanilla version), IOFamily.kext (vanilla), HDAEnabler, Verbhelper, and LegacyHDA. I used kexthelper to install all 5 of those, rebooted and mine worked.
Try rebuilding your dstl file using dellefi as well.

hey nick, I'm not that up to speed on the apple end of kexts and so on, I got osx on my mini 10v and updated to 10.5.7 but am really in need of help learning the way to install to get the sound working, I downloaded kexthelper b7 and the audiofamily kext zip, ran b7 and droped the kext in and went with easy install, reboot was fine but still no sound, any info would be appreciated thanx kevon
