| Lets assume Win XP is already installed and I nd want to mess with it at all. Will this process partition the hard disk in such a way that the existing Win configuration is not disturbed..i.e. the OSX partition is just added to the mix with no change to Windows. thanks jw |

| D1 well first time to hack anything let alone MAC.. But your guide was right on.. Wow how easy this was I expected this to be allot harder then it was... Thank you for your help on this. I do have one question I tried to hook the MINI to a 22 Inch monitor and the screen on both the mini and 22 Inch monitor went into lines.. Is there a fix for this. Other then this it was so easy to setup and configure. Thank you and all that were involved in this project. It's about time that MAC OSX should be available for all.. thank you again.. |

| Hi I'm new to this. And I actually had a friend Hackintosh my dell for me so I'm not too familiar with the OSX install process. Does anyone know if Is there a way to backup the Dell Mini with OSX installed, so that in the event that something happens -- (try to install OSX updates, etc... and it crashes) you can reinstall it on the laptop without going through the entire hackintosh process? Does creating a disk image work? |

| I just use Time Machine. The only thing I've had to do after restore was reinstall DellEFI (I use DellEFI 1.1 on my 10v). Worked beautifully, since I just did it Sunday.

| I was under the impression that no replies were to be made on this thread and that questions were to be redirected to the thread mechdrew links at the end of the guide. If this is the case, I will simply close this thread (would that make sense). This would then prevent replies on this thread but would still allow it to be viewable and such.
