Default Chameleon in NBI questions & suggestion - 06-11-2010, 03:10 PM

What Chameleon comes with the latest NBI? The change log for NBI does not give a Chameleon version for NBI after NBI 0.8.2 ("Added Chameleon 2 RC3 (r658) to the installer").

Chameleon 2 RC4 has new features that look promising.

If NBI's Chameleon is < 2 RC4, would it be considered harmful to install 2 RC4 manually?

If Ch 2 RC4 is going to be included in NBI in the future, I would like to suggest including Lizard and SetBootTheme with the NBI install. Or, if not the binaries, than the URLs mentioned in the readme.

And a BIG thanks to the developers!!

A modified version of RC3 is included. The next version will include a modified version of preRC5.

There are some features that the version included uses that RC4 doesn't have, so you may / will have problems especially if you try to do updates (of both the os or NBI).

I'm not going to include Lizard / SetBootTheme or anything like that.
