Default external monitor on a mini 9 10.6.3 - 05-23-2010, 08:40 AM

Today I tried to connect an external monitor to my mini 9 running 10.6.3 but all I got is a grey screen that I had to restart to fix. Searched the forum but I couldn't find a fix that changed this happening. I really need video out ( mirroring or extending ) for a presentation next week. Worked fine in the past but I guess that was with 10.6.2 as I haven't used this feature fro a while. Lucky I decided to test it today rather than discovering on the day. Am I correct in understanding use of external monitor is not possible with 10.6.3 and NBI 0.8.4.rc1? (other than going back to 10.6.2) I really hope a fix to this will come out in the future as it is a handy feature when needed.

you have to sleep the system after a cold boot once and then the VGA out will work. Happens to me on both my 10v and my 9

Mini10v: Black, 2GB RAM, 160GHD 10.6.7/Windows 7 Dual-boot, NBI 0.8.4
Mini9: Black, 2GB RAM, 32GSSD, 10.6.7 NBI 0.8.5pre
