I'll just wait for CS5 and install that. would be strange for CS5 to have the same bug as CS3.
CS4 works fine so I'm sure CS5 will too.

Smile Wait For 10.6.4 - 05-16-2010, 09:47 PM

Looks like the 10.6.4 update will fix what 10.6.3 screwed up in the CS3 department:

I noticed this along with the "makes windows installer-like file system pollution look like dpkg on Debian". We're all familiar with the various "utilities" these larger companies don't give us a choice to not install, Adobe being one of the usuals but one would wonder with the CS5 revamp why it didn't get much better.

Regardless of your "reasons" for wanting/needing to see the various launchagents, many directories and I counted five different processes after a PS-only install--I can't imagine installing the whole suite would do any better. I had to put "reasons" in quotes because I log every install to make backups + synching the files easier, but there are some nefarious ones, too.

I'm not sure if most are cool with the various background agents running, but if you are a person that hates when companies "sneak" this stuff in there, CS5 was the worst I've ever seen since early MS ports of Office on OSX.

Not to say I told you so but... well yes that's exactly what this- I told you so.

Apple rolled a fix in to its most recent update for some of these issues: AppleInsider | Apple releases Mac OS X 10.6.4 with trackpad, CS3 related fixes

Obviously its much later than some would have liked but it did come...

now that I've up dated to OSX.6.4 (there's a bug fix for adobe CS), installed my copy of PS CS3 on my Mini runs just about but the screen size is maddening, even mirrored it's bad.. my Macromedia 8 is just the same.. wouldn't recommend running adobe on Mini 10v's ..

saying that Light Room is okay..
