Default Is this a DSDT issue or something else - 03-25-2010, 12:29 PM

Not sure if this belongs in this forum...please move if it doesn't...thanks.

Since upgrading to 8.4 Pre, I've noticed that by battery meter has acted a little "glitchy" at times and was told and read that it was due to a DSDT issue and would be fixed in the next release.

Anyway, I've notice that when I look at System Profiler...I've seen a -1 cycle count. Is this a battery issue or part of the DSDT issue? I get close to 6hrs on my 6cell battery, but it never says 100% even after charging at night.

Had a happy 10.6.6 machine and updated to 10.6.7, but no love...maybe I'll do a vanilla install...but probably not.

The dsdt isn't getting loaded properly with 0.8.4pre.
