i agree with grassle entirely. Also, when you have a directory with backups and keep a couple of different versions, it becomes much easier to sort out. CamelCase is fine at refining search while underscore works best to separate grossly.

For instance...

Netbook_Installer 0.8.3RC2
Netbook_Installer 0.8.3RC3
Netbook_Installer 0.8.3RC4
Netbook_Installer 0.8.3RC5
Netbook_BootMaker 0.8.1RC3
Netbook_BootMaker 0.8.5RC2
Netbook_BootMaker 0.8.3RC5

The BlackMini 10v | 2GB | Seagate 320GB 7,200 rpm | A06 -> A04 (NBI 0.8.3 RC5) | OSX 10.6.2 | Voodoo Power Mini (w/ Sleep Stepping) | ******* My easy 10v trackpad and palm rest mod ->

To answer an earlier question, installing NBI/NBM onto a real Mac is "not a good thing." This is because Chameleon is just for regular PCs to boot Mac OS X. Has to do with emulating EFI among other things it does and real Macs have a real EFi. So I could see why a warning in NBM would be a good thing.

Personally I hate CamelCase but since its not my software I make no comment on its current use. I do agree though, adding the '_' between Netbook and the rest would be nice, making a visible break and letting the type (the thing the software operates on or does) show just like yadikee showed above.

Well, I play a part in creating NetbookCD, and it's name is NOT getting changed. No underscores. Sorry if that conflicts with some peoples' taste, but we can't all be satisfied when the opinion is not unanimous.

The names do not need changing. If you can't tell the difference between the names or hell, the app once it's opened, you shouldn't be trying to make a hackintosh in the first place. End. Of. Story.
