Does anyone, currently running 10.6.2, boot in more than 30s from dell logo to idle OS X desktop aside from antar?

It was this thread that made me think to regenerate the dsdt.aml:
10.5.7 start up time
As far as I was aware RC4 will NOT create a dsdt file on a clean installation but it will update one if it is already there. So, for a clean install, you have to run 0.8.2 to create the dsdt file before running RC4.

It sounds like you already had a previous dsdt file so re-running RC4 updated it.

Update: I just found I don't have audio with the scheme. after update_kext, it is about 1'20".

Mine takes about 1'45" from Chameleon to login. It is AppleHDA for sure, because after I put that in, it started taking this long. It used to take about 30 seconds.

But I'm pretty sure I can cut this down about 15-20 secs.
