I move OSXrestart to the /Extra/Minixxx dir and ran UpdateExtra After reboot, it would not boot. I than ran ran NBI 8.3RC4 from safe and it booted. Then after logging in there was no sound, no wireless, and trackpad was not working right. I would appreciate any help and if you could point me in the right direction. Thank you. |

If so would I have needed to click on show files at initial set up of Netbook Installer? If so how do I reinstall the Netbookinstaller but not affect my current install of Dual Boot? Your assistance is greatly appreciated. |

Short answer: You can't. Longer answer: RC5 (and pretty much all versions of NBI) will install an updated Chameleon bootloader. This will make the Windows install die giving you an error. There are a couple of stickied threads in the dual boot forum explaining how to fix this. Its the same process you would have done when creating your dual boot in the first place. Boot with your Windows install media, use diskpart to set the active partition to the Windows partition, let the installer disc repair your Windows partition, use diskpart to set the active partition back to OS X. Full details in those threads. This is for Win 7, there is a different process for XP, also in threads over in dual boot.
