The biggest new feature in this release is 10.6.2 support, so now you can use this to fix a broken SL update. Just want to remind everyone that not all DVD drives are compatible with the Mac OS X Installer. If you are able to boot from this CD but not into the Installer, and none of the troubleshooting tips work, it is most likely a bad disc or a bad DVD drive. So without further ado, here is the NetbookCD 0.8.3 RC4 Release: ISO (79.3 MB) Compressed ZIP (36.8 MB) http://osx.mechdrew.com - News and Guides for Installing Mac OS X via NetbookInstaller - Now on Twitter |

So the tradeoff is in this release there is 10.6.2 support, but not auto-install of NetbookInstaller. Crap... http://osx.mechdrew.com - News and Guides for Installing Mac OS X via NetbookInstaller - Now on Twitter |

Maybe some of the new code is conflicting with the old? http://osx.mechdrew.com - News and Guides for Installing Mac OS X via NetbookInstaller - Now on Twitter |

It might have something to do with that or just the code changes. I didn't really test that image (I mostly just made sure that 10.6.2 was working out of the box), so I'll make sure to do so in the future.
