Default Dell mini 9 boot loader theme (test release) - 09-29-2009, 01:02 AM

I am putting together this boot loader theme that will replace the currently plain one with i bit more of an exciting one. i dont have a camera so i cant take a picture of it but its basically got a windows theme layout and then has ready to turn your dell mini 9 into a hackintosh? then please wait bla bla bla... if anyone is interested i can put more work into it and bring out different versions for the mini 10 etc.

Note i have only spend an hour or 2 on this already so its not great.

Heres the current version RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting

Go to your extra folder then then right click and click on get info open sharing and permissions and then unlock it and enable read and write access to the folder and then click on the little clog and click apply to sub folders and files.

Once done go into the themes folder, you will see a folder called Default, rename it to Default1 and then place the downloaded folder in the themes folder and done, your new theme should be installed.

I would great appreciate feedback on this. thanks

~Danny

open a new finder window and then at the top menu bar click on go and then go to folder, and drop down menu will appear and then type in the box /extra and you will be taken to the extra folder.

ooooh you made such a mistake of finally showing me how to install the bootloader themes...I'd downloaded a bunch from the dev. site Theme Park with the understanding that if i didn't know what i was doing...then don't mess with it.
lol.

take a look at my playing around with a mix of the Mactico's I'm A Mac Theme from the commercials
and the Black OS theme resizing the resolution and image sizes for the mini9....

Well, there is a Tron Guy for this theme, but it is meant for Linux. I guess you could modify it, if you wanted to.

Yeah, I figured as much.
Sarcasm is sometimes difficult to convey in text. At least, it is for me, apparently.
