Recompiled VerbHelper for Snow Leopard. Should enable audio after sleep if using vanilla AppleHDA method. See OP for the file.

The stuff here is pretty old and the changes are incorperated into netbook installer. If you already have osx running, simply run the netbook installer application in safe mode (any key and then type -x at the chameleon prompt while booting).

As I said in the original post, I didn't test VerbHelper with HDAEnabler myself, it turns out that it does not like HDAEnabler. Anyway, VerbHelper has been update to work with HDAEabler.

Default How to update VerbHelper - 10-03-2009, 03:41 PM

Hi,

I want to try out your newest version of VerbHelper. Do I just copy the file into the Mini10vExt folder and run UpdateExtra? Are the instructions on the first page based on the EFI install method and not Netbookinstaller? It seems the directory structure is different.

Thanks

Yes, extensions go into Mini10vExt then run updateextra, the original post was based on the EFI method.

Has this effort been abandoned? It seems to me that there are other DSDT modifications/improvements that could be made and 3rd-party kexts that could be eliminated. Also, is the source code to the VerbHelper.kext available anywhere? Just from looking at the boot log, it appears that it *could* be responsible for the 1+ minute OS X 10.6.2 boot. Surely this can be fixed.
