The new NetbookInstaller 0.8.2 RC4 contains the audio fix for the 10v, you can find a link in my signature.

Now we don't need any more dsmos or appledecrypt kexts.
FakeSMC.kext gives for AppleSMC.kext keys osk0 and osk1, and now works original Dont Steal Mac OS.kext!!!

netkas.org FakeSMC – opensource smc emulator.
Thanks for the info, tea. Do you know any benefit of it over other method, besides "cosmetic"?

Mmm, now we can install Mac os server (or other Mac OS) in vmware or parallels for example (not on Atom)... Boot more quickly... Work original Apple decrypter.

Mechdrew, I used 0.8.2 RC4 last night on my reinstall. Audio works fine when I start but I am still having problems resuming from sleep. Any suggestions?

Could you try command "sudo dmesg |grep VerbHelper", and let me know the output?

1. Add to dsdt _PSS section for CPU (in my dsdt you can find it).
2. Create Legacy for ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin Profiler, add to it our model (for ex. MacBook2,2) and configure it for correct work with GFX, CPU and Mem.
Hi Tea, could I please ask you to post or send me a copy of your DSDT, of course the most recent one.
Thanks, and do appreciate it.

Default Quartz Extreme Help - 08-28-2009, 08:14 PM

i have installed osx 10.5.1 on my 10v using the netbookinstaller app.... iv been reading all the guides and watching the vids..... and i got it installed and the following works: audio, trackpad not freaking out, webcam, photobooth (which requires QE), front row, ilife 08.....

Then i did the 10.5.6 combo update.... everything works still... then 10.5.7 broke the cool stuff.... QE, photobooth, front row, audio (fixed the audio).....

How can i get Quartz Extreme working again?????

If you get codec dump from linux (see here), I could take a look it and see what I can do.
