I already applied the older AppleSMBIOS that tea posted. Now I see there is a SMBResolver kext that should fix things without using the old AppleSMBIOS from tea.

My question, what do I do to 'fix' things for my machine?
1) Replace old AppleSMBIOS from tea with version from? (10.5.8 Combo update?)
2) Add SMBResolver to /S/L/E and rebuilt Extensions.mkext?

P.S. in my dsdt _PSS added to all two CPU. This not correct, need only for first, CPU0.
tea, any software you can run to verify native speedstep is active besides looking at CPUPLimit?

I'm use CPU-i by Mojodojo. If you don't like it, you can use other: cpu-x by netkas netkas.org CPU-X:cpu-z like cpu detector for Mac OS X or MSR Tool (don't know author) MSR_Tools.dmg.zip

Thanks tea.
There is inconsistence of vcore reported by different tools.
cpuz (win tools) seems use equation of vcore = 712.5mv + 12.5mv *vid
P-States Calculator and MSR tool (from your post) seems use: vcore = 700mv +16mv*vid
cpu-x does not report vcore.

1. Add to dsdt _PSS section for CPU (in my dsdt you can find it).
2. Create Legacy for ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin Profiler, add to it our model (for ex. MacBook2,2) and configure it for correct work with GFX, CPU and Mem.
Sorry Tea, I can't seem to find your DSDT. Where exactly did you post it?

Is anyone experiencing the noisy sound after sleep with this method? I only had to install the Voodoo to get my audio in/out to work. Mute, volume, headphones, internal mic. I never lost audio on wake up. When I installed the fix for the noise, I lost all sound. The sound devices did not show. I removed the fix, and sound returned. The noise is not too bad most of the time but a bit annoying.

That said, I never removed the vanilla applehda. The Voodoo site said nothing of that even though some install guides said it was required.

All I have missing on my 10v is this noise issue and lack of scroll support on the trackpad since I had more issues with the V17-V18 of the trackpad fix than not having one at all.

netkas release FakeSMC.kext - open source emulator of SMC device.
Now we don't need any more dsmos or appledecrypt kexts.
FakeSMC.kext gives for AppleSMC.kext keys osk0 and osk1, and now works original Dont Steal Mac OS.kext!!!

netkas.org FakeSMC – opensource smc emulator.
What's this mean? I can't really make sense of the above.

You don't need AppleDecrypt or dsmos. Now work original native apple decryption in Dont Steel Mac Os.kext. FakeSMC inject keys for native decryption work.
