How do you fix the no audio from the internal speakers after waking from sleep?

Got speakers working, using the 5 kext method - reboot - running NetbookInstaller (install 10v extensions) - reboot. Only speakers, nothing else. I'll postpone futher work on this until my nerves have recovered a little bit ;-)
Reading a - not computer related - book meanwhile ...

I have no idea why this worked. I installed 10.5.8, had to fiddle around with that for a while, then I cleared out the extensions in the Extra folder. After installing the kexts using Kext Helper, I now have auto-detecting sound! Everything works now, don't ask me why.

I updated to LegacyAppleHDA to 1.1.0. (see OP). It should work for vanilla AppleHDA from 10.5.7 and 10.5.8.

I am a pretty smart guy and a good tech. I could probably figure this out, if I really sat down and poured over everything line by line and solved it like one of the biggest puzzles I ever solved. But, if someone could put this together in a self updating patch file, it would be worth it to me to even pay a nominal fee to have it done for me. I am sure that thousands of other 10v OS X users, like me would be willing to pay $4.95 or $9.99 for the ability to have full functionality of our hardware, just like the Mini 9 users receives.

Haha I hate linking to this so many times but if you follow my guide from start to finish you get a 100% working install of OSX 10.5.8 on a Mini 10v. The audio and hibernation fix are both included in the modified DellEFI for 10v, so most of the work is just waiting for updates and rebooting! ANyways, here you go!: Fool Proof No Hassle Mini 10v Install EVERYTHING WORKS!!

Got no luck so far, no matter what method I am using, I get audio (speakers only) once, then after sleep or reboot, its gone ...
Now, reydemia, read your tutorial, but I do not want to make a fresh install, so what would be the alternative?

On 10.5.7 everything worked after this thread started, however powermanagement got screwed up after 10.5.8. I think the mini 9 users experience the same powermanagement problems after 10.5.8 so they are equal.

Thanks everyone in this thread for fixing the sound issue.

Thanks scififan68. Good to hear that it works on Snow Leopard. Apparently, AppleHDA in 10.5.8 is closer to Snow Leopard than other version of of Leopard.
