Thank you to Inxneo, Herooftime (which helped me several time), Nick, Anguish, Meklort and other people for their work and troubleshooting this issue.

I do not want take away their efforts in solving this issue, but I realized that more than 100 posts has been published for this issue and for some of us is still not clear the full process. Please bear with me and correct me (for my english too) if I left anything out.

The fix in short... or how I did it.

For who patched with VoodooHDA (ONLY), like me.

Search for VoodooHDA.kext in System/Library/Extentions and move to the trash. You will be prompt to enter your password
Search for IOAudioFamily.kext in System/Library/Extentions and move to the trash. You may have also a copy in /Extra/Mini9ext or in /Extra/Mini10vExt
Search for AppleHDA.kext in S/L/E and move to the trash. You may have also a copy in /Extra/Mini9ext or in /Extra/Mini10vExt

Download the 5 kext files in post #1:
2 are links (green text):
Vanilla AppleHDA.kext (10.5.7), yes, this method NEEDS Vanilla AppleHDA (herooftime posted one here)
Vanilla IOAudioFamily as well (thanks meklort pointting this out), herooftime post one here. Thanks Nick, anguish and other people who helpped me debugging this problem.

3 are attachments at the bottom of post #1
LegacyAppleHDA.kext
HDAEnabler
VerbHelper.kext

Unzip and expand all files

Launch Kext Helper (you can find a copy here: http://cheetha.net/). Drag and drop the expanded 5 kext files onto Kext Helper application. Enter your password and click on install. Once complete it should reboot (Any application open may prevent reboot of you mini)

Once reboot open Apple System Profile(apple menu/About this Mac/ More info) and under Audio (built-in) you should see the different device(s): Input, and 2 Outputs.

You have done and your Mini 10v audio/mic (built-in) should work.

<<< Some time is needed to rebuild the DSDT.aml file especially if System Preference/Sound (output/input) is empty. >>>

- DellEFI method
Close all your applications.
Launch DellEFI and select custom. Put a check mark next to "remove DSDT.aml" and make sure that there are not other checks. Click on Install. Reboot.
Once back launch DellEFI again.
Select custom and put a check mark next to rebuild "DSDT.aml" click on install and reboot again.

-NetbookInstaller method
Close all your applications.
Launch NetbookInstaller. Remove all check marks but "Generate a system specific DSDT.aml File"
Click on Install. Reboot.

Please let me know if there is any error or I missed anything in this short guide

(shaking head violently) BOPPETYBOPPETYBOPPETY...

After rebooting and getting ZERO sound properties in SysPrefs, I ran DellEFI 1.2a5 to install the original extensions. Rebooted and still got zero sound. I THEN reinstalled the big 4 audio kexts, rebooted and EVERYTHING is working! Mic, headphones, everything.

I'm expecting all that to go away when I reboot (or sneeze) but somehow, it works now. Good work, all.

Do you mention LegacyAppleHDA.1.0.0 is fully working after wakeup, but LegacyAppleHDA.1.0.1 has mute problem after wakeup?
The problem i was having was no audio from the internal speakers after waking from sleep. This seemed to come out of nowhere as before that it all worked perfect. I re-installed all the kexts and the audio is working perfect again (mute for headphones as well works).

I used Legacy 1.0.0 simply because that worked from the start for me, so I don't have any real evidence that using legacy 1.0.1 was an issue. I have legacy 1.0.0 installed and my sound is fully functional with no mute issues.

It's an awesome thing to be able to skype with the internal mic. I can sit my 10v next to my Macbook Pro and they function identically!

Quick question what wireless cards do most people use in these systems?
1397 or the 1510? Does it really matter?
I am getting ready to order one now.

Thanks!

Okay...I got a rock again.

I tried this method on a second 10v. It looked similar to the seemingly random way I got my first one to work. I deleted the old audio kexts. Installed the new ones. Rebooted. Checked SysPrefs. Still had Built-In Speaker and Headphones in output, two internal mics on input. Mics and headphones still didn't work. Ran NetbookInstaller and updated the dsdt file.

Here's where I run into trouble. On reboot, the Apple logo and "loading" icon sit there indefinitely. I let it run 20 minutes last night. It doesn't finish. And here's the problem. It won't finish booting up (safe mode or otherwise) until I use NetbookInstaller on my Installer USB stick to reinstall the 10v's extensions. And that reinstalls the old audio driver. Back to square one.

I tried this a few times. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

UPDATE: Waaaaaaah. (stampyfeet stampyfeet) Now I've also lost waking up from sleep and - a new one - not able to boot into safe boot. Just the Apple logo and "loading" spinner forever.

This time when it reboots, you will see a little progress bar underneath apple icon. Hit the "-" (minus) key before the progress bar disappears, and then type "-x" (no quotes.) hit enter. This will boot Mac OS X into Safe Mode, then from your USB run netbook installed and generate DSDT file

Also in this post you mention NetBookInstaller and in a previous one DellEFI 1.2. Which method are you using??

Hi, Straulino...

That's the problem. I do interrupt the first load screen to enter -x to go into safe boot. I then get the real Apple logo/spinner but that's it. It'll stay that way forever. (I know there are times when the spinner doesn't show and you have to do a cold reboot, but that's not the case here.)

On this 10v (my second 10v doing a Hackintosh), I used NetbookInstaller to make the original install.
