Default Debian Testing (Wheezy) WiFi issues - 04-04-2012, 08:29 PM

Hi all.

I tried to install Debian Testing (Wheezy) a few days ago on my Mini 10v. Everything seemed to go alright with the install, however, the WiFi (most common problem i've encountered with Linux installs!) did not want to work.

Now i understand there is a link to the broadcom-wl driver on the debian wiki, but i had issues compiling it, and after 6 hours of reading forum posts and speaking to people on the debian IRC, i didn't manage to get the issue solved.

Has anyone installed Wheezy on their Mini 10v and successfully got WiFi working?

I currently have Ubuntu installed, and wish to switch to Debian just to rid myself of the bloat i've found with Ubuntu, and move into a bigger, more advanced distro.

Thanks in advance!
