Default moblin 2.1 on mini 10v installed to usb - 03-13-2010, 03:09 PM

Hi There

Can anyone help me install moblin 2.1 onto a usb key? I have succesfully put the live image onto a usb stick, but would like a more permanent solution, but still want to keep OSX as main source.

I have installed moblin from the live image usb stick onto another usb stick succesfully, but can not get it to boot.

I have read around that some files need editing (such as the grub list), but am new to linux and would really appreciate some guidance.

Can you select the USB drive with full Moblin installed from the BIOS boot device menu? What does the "/boot/grub/menu.lst" file look like? (depending on GRUB version, menu.lst might not exist)

I can, and it gets to the Moblin logo on boot, and then screen goes blank and the USB key is no longer being accessed!

Can anyone give a step by step guide?
