Hi Guys, For those that still have problems on there Dell Mini 1010 or any other netbook with a GMA500 GFX, try the following link! Test GMA 500 for Jolicloud I am running JoliCloud, so i dont know if this will work on other distro's also, but test for us and let us know.. I installed smplayer and made the changes that Thibaud mentioned in his post. Now for the first time i can play both 720p and 1080p full screen without lagging and tearing. IT WORKS for me! I have not tested hdmi out, as i dont have an HD tv to test on, but on the laptop itself its working 100% for me now.. ~*!Needle in my mind!*~ I want my Motorola Shadow NOW!! It works for the Mini 10? Holly... it works! xD. But... in some parts of the Hd videos had glitches and some video problems, but... nothing important, the 720p videos run near flawlessly. |

I tried jolicloud for about 2 months but gave up because of abysmal network performance. Files on windows shares would disappear randomly only to show up again days later. Streaming video would drop for 5+ seconds at a time no matter how much I buffered. Pity too, because I REALLY like the jolicloud interface and app system |
