Default Lost Wireless acces - 12-21-2009, 06:05 PM

I have had a Dell Mini 10v for about a month now and yesterday the screen froze and I turned it off via the power button (Linux newbie and now realise that this was a huge mistake).

Since then I can only get wired Internet access - is there a way I can get Wireless access back without re-installing. I think that the drivers have been corrupted although I can see that the driver is enabled in Hardware drivers.

I realize this is a late answer, but try removing and reinstalling the wireless driver packages. I think "sudo apt-get purge bcmwl-kernel-source && sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source" in a terminal will work.
