Hey there. Yes, from what I've seen/heard, lots of people have had problems with wireless.
Have you been to:
I am still looking around in the above thread, so I don't know if any one found a solution.
Moblin came on a Mini 9 I got & it didn't see my ethernet or wireless.... ~lol~ That was a bummer! However, to be fair, I don't know if my router has any thing to do with that issue (Netgear WGR614 v6). On every other computer, I can just put an ethernet cord in the router & to the computer & be good to go.

There are lots of comments; maybe there is something there? I'm not sure.
3. Is your wireless card a Broadcom? then Dell mini 9
Link was mentioned at Using the Moblin Live Image | moblin.org
(I heard the Vostro A90 is similar to/the same as a Mini 9 but right now, I don't know if the hardware is the same. I'm still new to the Mini 9 scene. )
I haven't tried it yet, though, & my Broadcom is different from the one that comes with the Mini 9 any way.
Also, something that stumped me for a while was how to shut down Moblin. Yes, I know you can push the power button, but I really didn't want to do that so a solution is at Moblin v2.0 beta for Netbooks and Nettops - It's here... | moblin.org
Well, I'm off to try a fresh install of Moblin on the Mini 9 to see if that'll do any thing for my current situation.
Edit: The Moblin that came with my Mini was 2.0. I don't believe it is the latest version, though. Wish me luck.

I also own a Vostro 90. It's just a Mini 9 with a different BIOS and a different case, so you can easily flash the Mini 9 BIOS (current is A5). It did this and installed Moblin 2.1. Ethernet works fine, Bluettooth seems to work (didn't test), sound works (although a little quiet) and wifi works after following this guide: Dell mini 9
Overall I'm pretty impressed, if Moblin 2.1 gets mature I'll definately stick with it.

I tried that guide, but I'm getting an error after I do "rpmbuild --rebuild --target=i586 wl-kmod-18.104.22.168.3-1.moblin.src.rpm"
error: cannot open wl-kmod-22.214.171.124.3-1.moblin.src.rpm
Any ideas? All the other steps worked. I'm kind of a linux newb.

I, too, had a problem getting it work yesterday (last step, build). I'm also a newbie. I tried what you said about the ls & the file is in the directory.
There are a few things I would be glad if you could help with like how to:
1. make a keyboard Shortcut for switching between zones
2. copy text from different zones into the dell_mini message box
(I'm attaching as a txt file because I was unable to do it for some reason.)
3. Erase web browser history, set web browser settings
I am going to try the build part again to see if it will work this time.
Edit: There were no error messages this time. Maybe a reboot or something is needed before the last step? I will write back again to see if I get it working.
By the way, does anyone know if the steps on Slaine's web site will work for a BCM94321MC? I still can't copy + paste. If you do a search, there should be a link to a product description on Broadcom's site.
Edit #2: It worked. ~lol~ I turned it back on just a while ago & it just worked. I was able to add my connection. I also got the erase web browser history thing out of the way. The button's right there next to the address bar. (~phew~)

Today I installed 2.1 on my Mini9 which works fine with the wifi 'how to' posted above. I also had this error some days ago, maybe Broadcom's server was down.
About the missing Copy + Paste: I already posted this as a bug some weeks ago but got the response that this is not a bug but a feature.
Anyway, you can copy + paste by pushing STRG+V for pasting.
