I've downloaded and tried to install the latest release of Chrome OS for Dell.
This build is dated December 18, 2011 and can found here:

It's claim to have the Wifi with the correct drivers from Broadcom is correct.
I was able to boot from a flashdrive and following the instructions, I was able to very easliy enable the wireless adapter.
However, when I went to install it to the 4gig SSD drive on my Dell Mini 9, I received the following error:
