All you guys (and gals) in this forum are sooo helpful. I've got my Mini10v up and running after some trial and error (maybe i will post a full report later), and I have several of you to thank for your tutorials.

Currently my issues are:

1) No functionality on function keys. At least I would like to go to dashboard with f12...suggestions?

2) In System Prefs, under "Keyboard/Mouse" I see nothing for the mouse and nothing for the trackpad. Should there be something there?

3) Can this Mini10v connect to my G5 running 10.4.11 on a wireless computer-to-computer network? The newer G5s offer 802.1x connection, but that's not an option in Tiger.

I have no answer for questions 1&3, but #2 reminds me of a problem I had with my mini 9. Same absence of keyboard and mouse settings... but I thought it was because of the french language I used. I found out that exchanging the french "keyboard and mouse" prefs in system/library/preferencepanes folder with the english one solved the problem (see

But first, have you tried to rerun dellefi to install the 10.5.5 prefpane?

I hadn't selected the 10.5.5 pref pane option in DellEFI. Ah-ha! Okay, so now I have the mouse and trackpad under control. Awesome!!

So now...function keys.

Function keys work up to F10 (the others donot exist!). For internet, have you activated interne sharing?
