I am continuing to raise this issue. Airport (broadcom card) does not work well.

I received my replacement card, and everything has worked perfectly since installing it. Some minor video streaming glitches seem to have been resolved too, so I'm fairly confident that the problem was a bad card.

I replaced the Broadcom 94312 with a Broadcom 94311 as this was easily and cheaply available on ebay. The 94311 worked immediately in the Mini 9 without the need of any extra drivers.

So I recommend changing the card - must have been a bad batch of card delivered to Dell which would explain why so many people are experiencing this issue.

(All the other solutions I've come across on the forums have worked temporarily at best)

How is the speed and signal strength of the 94311 replacement card compared to the malfunctioning 94312

I honestly can't tell any difference between the two cards as they perform on the mini-9. The 93411 seems a little faster as shown by the lack of video streaming problems, but this could just be because the 93412 was flakey, so difficult to assess with any certainty.
Anyway, I'd recommend the 93411 - works perfectly.

Btw, more than a week, and not a single issue with the replacement card. I've seen so many people complaining about this issue that I'm sure Dell must be aware of a batch of bad cards.....
