Question Kernel Panic afer installation - 06-21-2009, 12:22 PM

I'm installing OSX on a new Mini 9/1GB/8GB

I'm trying the new method
Everything goes fine... up to the postinstall

I didn't even update the OS to the 10.5.7... I need first to do some cleaning to gain free space.

As long as my usb drive is connected It's ok

Then I install dellefi and when I unplug and then reboot I got a Kernel Panic

I don't know what to do... I tried dellefi changes but no luck.

Let's start again

Bios is A05
First I format the drive in GUID/FAT named OSXMINI9
then I go on in the installation and change to journalized
then I remove all the packages... 3.5 Mb left
Then it's gone for 30 minutes
I type the postinstall and reboot
I remove the usb drive
then I create the account and everything is fine up to this point
I'm running 10.5
I have 510 Mb left at the startup... then it decrease
I try a reboot and no problems 458 Mb left
I remove voices 1.14Gb left

I'll try dellefi1.1 easy. Reboot. No luck... It restart... I saw the chameleon and then Kernel Panic...
I can't do anything but reinstalling...
There's no safe mode boot option (only verbose, ignore cache, single user)

After looking for some place... I managed to do the update to 10.5.6 and then DellEfi works fine.
