Default OSX 10.5.7 missing user login - 06-17-2009, 06:57 AM

My mini 9 works great with the OSX. I love the speed that it is running.

Only issue is that I just realized that no matter what I do, I cannot seem to enable the login prompt. Thats the one that asks for the password when you power up.

I am currently using the BIOS password to protect the Mini 9 but would rather have OSX take care of that.

Any help on this? Thanks in advance!

Open up System Preferences and choose the "Accounts" pref pane. Under the list of users is button labelled "Login Options" - click on this. At the top of the right hand panel is a dropdown menu titled "Automatic login" - select "Disabled" as the option. That should force the OSX login screen.
