Safari 4.0 on 10.5.7 on my Dell Mini 10v works great. Not a single issue. I would try to reinstall.

I too have been running safari 4 on my dell mini 9 under 10.5.7 since it was released with no issues.

dell mini 9, 2gb ram, runcore 32gb, os x 10.5.7. no bluetooth, no webcam

Just updated to 4.0 last night and it seems to run just great on my Mini9.

Safari 4 is running great for me. I've officially switched over to it on exclusively on my Mini now. Its so efficiently fast.
