Hey Guys,
With the old Boot123 Method it was easy to make an external emergency drive that required no internal drive at all. Boot123 was when we had that separate EFI partition that it booted from. I was able to install OS X onto my external USB drive using the DellEFI 1.2a5 that is on the internal
SSD as a boot loader. However, after running DellEFI 1.2a5 when booted from the external drive everything works, but if I tell the dell to boot from USB (avoiding the internal drive in case something were to happen to it) it does not boot.
Has anyone had success in doing this?
I did a quick search on the forums and could not find an answer.
Thanks Guys
-Jeff
