Default Vostro A90 sleep issues... - 06-05-2009, 08:47 PM

I have a Vostro A90 2 gigs with 32gb runcore.

I tried to install using the stock 16gb via the 2 USB stick method. No luck. so I just threw my runcore from my mini 9 into the vostro. Everything works! Running 10.5.7 dellEFI 1.1.

However. There are sleep issues. I close the lid and it sleeps throbbing light and all. When i open it its sometimes a black screen. and sometimes OSX without a mouse cursor or functioning keyboard.

Any thoughts?

I found InsomniaX to be very helpful as well. Our A90 lives as a "desktop" setup most of the time, and I really didn't want to have the lid open all the time while it was connected to an external monitor. Unfortunately, it runs pretty hot with the lid closed (60 degrees C+) so I leave the lid open anyway.
