Default Monochrome buttons? - 06-05-2009, 05:34 PM

A new question - why does my 10.5.7 mini9 have monochrome buttons (the ones that are usually red, yellow, green) on the os x windows? I don't remember if the 10.5.6 had colors, and I don't have another Leopard machine (desktop is a G4 Mac Mini w/
Tiger).

Mac OSX has them as grey now- so its normal.

If you want the colour back go to system pref and choose appearance and change from graphite to blue.

This is a setting in System Preferences --> Appearances.. The "Graphite" look has grey buttons. The "Blue" look has the familiar stoplight colors. The buttons are also grey when the app is in the background.

Thanks - I thought I tried both, but now see the "blue" theme has the colors, and the blue progress bars. Keeps me closer to Tiger, my favorite OS X.
