Hi all.
I've been scouring the forum to find anything similar to my problem, which is that my keyboard doesn't work now that 10.5.7 is installed. It is not a problem with the keyboard itself, since I can use it fine in the boot window before os x loads.
If i run dellefi 1.1 or 1.2. and then reboot, it will sometimes make the keyboard work again, but only for the one time after I've rebooted -- when I shut down the keyboard stops working again.
Has anyone else had this problem? I followed the safe boot/ runEFI / etc. that we've all done after installing the update, which solved the garbled video issue, but have since had this keyboard problem.

use external usb keyboard and if you have system backup just copy DELLEFI partition back it will work again.
