Default Mini 9 with OSX will not wake from sleep - 05-31-2009, 06:47 PM

Hi,

I loaded OSX on my Mini9 and this is the best mini in the world with it. It all seems to work ok until the unit goes to sleep. I upgraded to a RunCore 32GB and this is the only issue i am having. 3G works like a champ, webcam, the works. The audio is a little funny once and a while but for the most part it is all set.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

I read elsewhere that disabling legacy USB support in the BIOS is needed to fix that with OS X.

Press the power button? If mine falls asleep with the lid open, I have to press power to wake it up.

my last install had the same problem try unplugging the ac adapter then press the power button. That should take it out of sleep. For some reason it would not wake from sleep while it was charging.

Go into the BIOS by pressing the "2" button at boot and change the settings so that "Legacy USB Support" is disabled. Bada-bing.

Sorry, I didn't read closely. Sounds like a real problem! Good luck with that!
